Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose:

Provide
support in the fields indicated under “Tasks” and provide daily support as
Programme Officer for 9 months

 

Tasks:

  • Assess the KIC Business Plans and amendments and supporting the process of allocation of the annual grants to KICs and in particular to EIT Digital. 

  • Coordinate the assessment of the final reports on annual grants submitted by the KICs, in particular EIT Digital, in terms of operational performance. 

  • Analysis of the strategic agenda and portfolio of Innovation, Entrepreneurial Education and Business Creation/Accelerator activities of EIT Digital and cross-KIC activities, namely in specific areas such as cybersecurity, digital infrastructures, digital tech, digital industry, digital wellbeing, digital cities, digital finance, innovation development support and/or artificial intelligence. 
    Support the cross-KIC cooperation and development of synergies between KIC activities and other programmes.
    Contribute to the financial and operational management in the area of responsibility, including procurements, implementation of contracts,  payments and reporting.
    Contribute to the achievement of the EIT's objectives through inputs to horizontal coordination activities, teamwork, proactive internal communication and inputs to the work of colleagues.
    Supporting the implementation of the EIT monitoring strategy and contributing to draft reviews and analytical reports;
    Working with all EIT teams and KICs to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and information, and contributing to technical discussions relevant for the area of responsibility;
    Contributing to the enhancement of procedures and document management at the EIT;
    Supporting the EIT management and other EIT units through briefings.

Professional experience:

Experience
in the field of advanced project/programme management of publically funded projects
and any of the fields indicated under "Tasks".

Qualification: Completed university degree attested
by a diploma

Advantageous:

Experience in working for an EU institution Experience in EU funds managemen

Language
skills: Excellent/ Proficient command of the
English language (C1 Level based on the Common Framework of Reference
Languages)

IT Skills: Computer literacy
and in particular excellent knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Office and Internet.
