Key Responsibilites

  • Handle the order management based on the requested demands and negotiated prices and conditions at defined suppliers
  • Ensure continuity of supply by supporting the day-to-day operation
  • Obtaining technical approval from functional heads specially on engineering items prior to creation of purchase orders
  • Preparation of Purchase Order
  • Register Vendor for PO creation
  • Accessing inventory status for min max items on a regular basis and releasing purchase orders based on inventory level
  • Tracking of materials
  • Arrangement of freight forwarder for imports procurement as required
  • Follow up with the shipping line
  • New Vendor development in order to ensure multiple vendors for a single item so that timely delivery to the internal customers can be done on time
  • Provide the best available goods at affordable prices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent in English/Hungarian speaking, writing, and reading
  • at least 3 years experience is required as a purchaser in a manufacturing environment
