Job description, responsibilities and duties

General Description
  • Active monitoring of the Leitstand dashboards and involving of the responsible colleagues = communication with the AD/AM/AO if a relevant timeout/failure occurs
  • Organization and moderation of calls/meetings in case of interruptions with (lower) business impact
  • Involvement of the Leitstand Experts in case of issues with critical business impact, in case of missing, outdated or incorrect FAQs
  • Communication with TOP management
  • Proactive actions in case of detection of abnormal but not critical behavior (analyzing, communication, tracking, …)
  • Update the Logbook, collect information about changes
  • Initiate trainings or lessons learnt, if necessary

  • Basic knowledge of business processes Telekom Germany GmbH and Pre-Order / Order (with focus on IP products)
  • Basic knowledge about the applications and interfaces between them in the TelIT’s TSO organization
  • Ability to work with SM9 (creating and tracking of tickets) and NIMBUS (finding of problem tickets which are related to created issues)
  • Ability to work with Tivoli (handling of alarms), VSMtool (TSO/OSS Leitstand dashboards + IT-Services in DeepDive), Viper (looking for unannounced changes) and Cacti (overview of the actual status of the NGSSM-systems), Darwin (to find the current actionplans/FAQs and the basic information about the applications, servers and contact persons, the interfaces between the applications), DMU (to find basic information about the databases)
  • Basic knowledge about the NGSSM components/applications/infrastructure and the applications which are used by the provisioning of services provided to fulfill customer requests.
