Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

-Performs tasks related to the respective Production processes. Coordinates and controls processes according to valid standards in order to increase the efficiency of the service activity and customer satisfaction. Designs and produces internal and external reports related to process management.
-Coordinates and organizes activities related to group of colleagues related to daily tasks or small team projects on a regular basis. Provides active on site support, training and development activities for other colleagues. Identifies gaps and deviations in existing processes/instructions and actively defines and implements improvements.
-Governance of the process management within the unit or company. Designs and implements changes in processes or sub-processes according to valid standards and in order to increase the efficiency of the service activity. Provides consultancy in assigned processes. Prepares and controls optimization measures relating to processes and reporting.

Accountabilities
-Active participation on the Service Meeting and taking jobs which result from the Service Meeting .
-Responsible for the agreement on the changes of business parameters like support times of the Applications, DR Level, Incident closing times and similar with the AM (application management) and the business side.
-Validation of TITAN (monitoring tool) measurements and communication and preparation of reports for the Stakeholders (AM, Business Partner, Management).
-Evaluation and analyzing of application risks and support by creation and tracking of countermeasures with regards on the Application Risk Management.
-Making the Risk-Interviews with Application Managers.
-Creation of Risk Reports for the IT GL (Deutsche Telekom IT management board) and the TSO Management Team.
-Responsibility for the creation and maintenance of new Monitoring Dashboards in the Telekom IT Leitstand.
-Active responsibility for other jobs in context of the Telekom IT Leitstand f.e. – Tel IT Leitsatnd Handbook.
-Participation in CAB (change advisory board) and preparation for that.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Experience in IT Services( Information technology) /application operation minimum 1 year
Detailed overview of ICT(information and communication technology) industry environment
Steering of projects in project management for complex and multi-national projects
Deep knowledge of quality management methodologies (e.g. KPI- Key erformane indicator, reporting, Management systems, Excellence programs, Quality tools)
Experience of IT operations across all layers (e.g. application operation, system operation, infrastructure, network, storage, desktop)
Risk Management and ITIL ( Information technology infrastructure library) Know-How
Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook - advanced
