Job description, responsibilities and duties

General Description/Purpose
- Managing of Application Management / Maintenance team of Customer facing application managers/administrators fully responsible for the entire lifecycle (plan, integration, maintenance, build, test, run, decommission, support functions) of Applications/Services in the role of OPM including several of the TOP 100 critical customer Services together with overall accountability for the Service quality delivered to the DTAG customer by the entire TSSK company

- Generic managerial accountabilities:
- Deliver services/solutions to clients in agreed quality and quantity structure according agreed contracts (OLA, SLA, SA, DA…) and internal KPI.
- Establish and maintain relationships with counterparts/clients and other stakeholders for effective communication.
- Lead and develop people in own team to be able to deliver agreed quality and maintain satisfaction of employees.
- Maximizes staff contribution through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs to lead, oversee and safely manage all aspects of application management related tasks in the projects
- Manage the relationships between multiple stakeholders across various groups like architects, Design/Deployments, Security, Support Organization, Sales, Corporate Communications, OSS Engineering, Network Operations, etc.
- Continuously improve services in own area, propose improvements in related areas and implement improvements initiatives.
- Provide inputs into financial plans and effectively manage business and resources of own team in order to meet financial budget.
- Operationally manage critical situations and solve business-as-usual escalations to provide seamless operation and effective service to clients.
- Develops architectural standards, project requirements and controls for platform and application integration.
- Deliver all people-related regulatory topics (labor code, internal rules & guidelines).
- Oversees multiple application operation and implementation projects which include installation, architecture and maintenance of application programs.

Job specific accountabilities:
- Actively steer capacity of team resources and quality of results to ensure SLA fulfillment and effective operation.
- Coordinate, approve and control take-over and delivery of services according to standard/processes.
- Supervises the full spectrum of delivery activities on multiple migrations/ implementation projects
- Collect and provide feedback on terms and conditions of contracts
- Steers the designated ICTO Service chains across and outside of the borders of own organization (e.g. Network, Storage, Operating Systems, Databases etc.) .
- Participates in the operations and execution of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports for application management projects.
- Project Management for internal/external projects (project steering, leading, designing and membering)
- Actively support portfolio enhancement activities
- Actively steers application managers supporting business processes running on the applications in scope.

- Managing of 20 direct reports (TSM/AO/AM/AD)
- Plan and control the revenues of 850.000€
- Plan and control the costs of 800.000€
- Reports to Head of Department of Telekom IT

Requirements for the employee

University education (Bachelor's degree)

- University degree preferably in the field of Informatics/Economics Experience
- 2 Years in IT
