Field Sales Manager

Our client is a global FMCG company with a long tradition. Starting as a small European family enterprise, today it is one of the larger players in its field.

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Field Sales Manager.

The strategic purpose is to develop sales execution excellence, drive commercial agenda of the company, to optimize the Sales team effectiveness, company profits, based on effective management of our Sales Force control of Customers’ investments for maximum ROIC, develop and master team competency.

Key Responsibilites

Main tasks:
  • Gaining and analysing available market information relevant to the business development in terms of short- and long- term planning
  • Implement the ISE (In Store Execution) strategy and standards through Sales Team
  • Optimise cost and maximise the impact for allocation of Sales Team resources for customer service needs
  • Monitor and report competitors actions in the local FMCG market
  • Implementation of the pricing strategy in every outlet serviced in accordance with the competition law.
  • Directly managed regional customers focusing on the P&L and profitable growth

People management (9-10 SR):
  • Setting ambitious targets and track delivery of Input and Output KPIs
  • Supervising the implementation of the monthly sales operational calendar and targets per SR area
  • Coach, motivate and supervise regional sales team according to standards drivcing passion for result delivery
  • SR route planning
  • Implement, track and follow up on monthly activity sales operational targets
  • Preparing and implementing development plans
  • Participating in the People Boards

Planning the week to meet in the field expectations:
  • 4 days per week working in the field with Sales Representative
  • 1 day per week working in the office (home or meetings in the office)

Requirements

  • University degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in field sales
  • Proven experience and successes in managing sales team /min 2 years/
  • Experience in a similar position in FMCG categories
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Driving license (B)
  • Fluent in English
