Key Account Manager

On behalf our partner we are looking for a Key Account Manager in the FMCG sector to develop profitable sales with key clients and to establish a long-term strategic partnership with partners in his/her area.

Key Responsibilites

  • Explore and understand Customer needs and develop tailor made action plans
  • Conduct regular business meetings with key customers
  • Negotiate trade terms and related business-relevant counterparts for the year to come in connection with company budget, sales targets & strategy
  • Define annual targets for accounts with the help of the line manager & recommend short- and long term action plans to achieve them
  • Accept full responsibility for collection and outstanding accounts
  • Manage the relationships with the key inner stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Supply Chain)
  • Cooperate with Shopper Activation Managers


  • 3 years experience in key account management, within a multinational FMCG company
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian
  • College / University degree
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship management and business acumen
  • Exceptional customer focused and problem solving attitude
  • High sense of analytics and complexity
  • Positive attitude, result-oriented mindset
  • Experience from Field and Trade Marketing is an advantage
