Risk Analyst

Key Responsibilites

Report to Risk Team Manager. Key member of risk team responsible for ensuring that the region meets its strategic risk management goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Risk Manager in daily risk operation
  • Assess the evidences of local controls for assigned In-country technology and/or regional/global Infrastructure areas
  • Report results and present recommendations for improvement to management.
  • Liaise with Risk Team Managers to ensure that all scheduled tasks are tracked to closure on timely and quality manner
  • Maintain and Develop and supervise KRI's/KPI’s to track progress against strategic goals
  • Continually seek to leverage process improvement opportunities
  • Assistance to the RCM in management issues on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Manage and track the whole lifecycle of control issues within the entities supported.
  • Apply knowledge of Information Technology Management Policy and general process areas to coordinate the effective review of the entities operating processes and process control manuals (PCM).
  • Provide oversight on all risk management issues for the Risk Managers and for the entities supported.
  • Attend operational management meetings and controls calls as required for the entities supported.
  • Support the design and development of controls to ensure that the company's functional entities are meeting strategic goals
  • When required engage with global teams and risk management teams on key control issues.
  • Additional adhoc risk and compliance work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Understanding of at least one (or more) infrastructure area is an advantage
  • Process and procedures, including document control
  • Exposure to audit and/or risk management activities preferred
  • Ability to plan, organize, monitor workloads and priorities across multiple groups


Skills:

  • Proficiency with all MS Office products
  • Good interpersonal and written skills
  • Contributor with strong drive and self-starter attitude
  • Strong work ethic
  • Analytical approach with an eye for detail and emphasis on accuracy

Competencies:

  • The candidate will need to be a self-starter. Work will have to be of a consistently high nature with a focus on timely and accurate delivery of information and reports.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring things are done, overcoming obstacles and challenges.
  • Ability to influence staff and team members at various levels of the organization
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within time frames set.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.

Intermediate level of English is needed for the job, and Advanced level is needed for working on a higher level.
