Technology Control Officer

Key Responsibilites

A Technology Control Officer (TCO) is required to assist in implementing and maintaining a cohesive, effective, efficient, coordinated, and consolidated controls governance model in support of ICG Technology. Working closely with a dynamic business in a large and varied environment. Act as a consultant to Technology Businesses, helping them to achieve a high level of compliance with regards to information security policies and standards and Technology Risk Governance model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Risk Control activities
  • Provide assistance to application owners/management team to ensure Risk Control issues and initiatives are addressed timely
  • Assist technology teams in responding to audit requests
  • Proactively identify control deficiencies through technology self-assessment testing, risk and control initiatives
  • Monitor progress of corrective action plans
  • Perform Managers Control Assessment testing of IT General Controls
  • Identify emerging risks and prepare Quarterly Risk Assessment documents
  • Facilitate compliance with the company's policies, standards and regulations
  • Perform and report on trend analysis, identifying opportunities for process improvements

Requirements

  • Higher degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Audit, Information Security or Risk Management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and prioritize and maintaining total accuracy
  • Ability to influence others
  • High level of attention to detail

Advantages:
  • Experience performing IT Business Analysis, Project Management or similar work
  • Awareness and execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Managers Control Assessment or other technology self-assessment processes
  • Previous experience performing Internal and/or External Audit coordination
  • ITIL
  • CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP
  • VBA, SQL
