General Ledger Finance Analyst

Our client is a well known, prestigious telecommunication company what is providing IT and communications services to its multinational clients and government organisations in nearly 200 countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilites

  • Works primarily independently, priorities work stack and adapts to changing priorities. Responsible for personal output with autonomy to plan and execute own work.
  • Prepare and review General Ledger journal entries
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation on monthly basis
  • Proactively monitor, action and follow-up of pending Balance Sheet items, escalate if necessary
  • Participate in month-end-close activities
  • To be able to communicate effectively with the in-country teams on daily basis
  • Operate process according to the SOX controls
  • Actively participate in audits (SOX, Statutory, Group)
  • Ensure manuals/documentations are up to date
  • Develop appropriate procedures to improve efficiency – familiar with -Continuous Improvement methodology
  • To be able to be appointed as a trainer for back up and new joiners


  • BA/BSc degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Finance or in similar field
  • Strong Excel knowledge is required
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Fluency in English required
  • German and/or French is an advantage
