Regional Supply Planning Team Lead

Our client, a Swiss-based company with a significant global presence, is currently looking for a colleague in the position of Regional Supply Planning Team Lead to join their dynamic team in Budapest.

Key Responsibilites

As a Regional Supply Planning Team Lead you will be responsible for the Supply Planning team which performs Supply Planning activities. You will ensure timely and accurate processing of all Supply Planning activities for the Supply Planning team, in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements.

Coordinate and lead: Supervise day to day operations in the Supply Planning area:

For non-vendor managed materials:
Optimize inbound supply patterns and evaluate exception requests from site
Manage planning parameters and lead time data and evaluate exception requests from site
Perform stock transfers for inventory optimization purposes
Identify material supply constraints and collaborate with regional Supply Chain team to develop resolution options
Create presentation material for supply review and executive S&OP
Manage short term supply issues from network that satisfies site requirements in most cost effective manner

Drive and enhance: you will actively work on the continuous improvement of the Supply Planning team processes and encourage your team members to come up with improvement ideas. You will support the set-up and supervise the Supply Planning team for the pilot countries.

Stakeholder management: you will build constructive and effective relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.


  • University or College degree
  • Proficient in Business English, additional languages are an advantage
  • 3+ years of experience in Planning and min. 1 year of experience in a team-leading role
  • Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience of knowledge transfer activity is an advantage
  • Experience in a shared service center is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently
