Feladatkör, kompetenciák és felelősség

The Purchasing Trainee works closely with the individual Purchasing Managers on the full range of procurement and contract management projects while reporting to the Head of Purchasing of Wizz Air Group. The successful candidate will support and ensure that all procurement processes are carried out according to the companys purchasing policy. Important part of the role is involvement in all stages of competitive provider selection processes
(Tenders). These stages include internal need assessments, Request for Proposal formulations, project management, financial assessment and risk analysis, provider selection, contract negotiation and decision paper preparation for the senior management. Also will assist in managing the companys contract inventory, filing systems and closed loop invoicing process, in order to ensure the updated and accurate contract management and invoice control of the Department. Responsibilities: Specific job tasks include, but are not limited to some set of the following activities:•Develop knowledge and expertise to be able to provide advice, guidance and support to Purchasing Managers on tendering processes, including:•Organizing client department alignment meeting•Creating tender and evaluation documentation
(RfP, RfI, etc.)•Conducting market research on potential suppliers•Handling queries and questions of potential suppliers/bidders•Assisting with and building Excel models for proposal evaluation•Participating in departmental interviews and taking part in provider negotiations •Supporting the contracting process with providers•Supporting end product and deliverable preparationTo deal with a range of matters relating to suppliers on a daily basis, including:•Responding to telephone and email enquiries of suppliers•Keeping in touch with existing providers•Mapping out new providers with added-value potential for Wizz Air•Assisting departments with supplier problems•Ensuring the Purchasing Departments contract inventory being up-to-date•Managing contracts, internal approval procedures•Supporting the creation and change of internal procedures and automation toolsContinuous support in fuel management:•Keeping in touch with fuel suppliers•Supporting fuel management and invoice handling Requirements: •Active university student status in Hungary•Fluency in English•Strong communication skills both verbal and written•Good
MS Office knowledge
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook is a must)•Team player with can do and hungry for learning attitude•Project and process management skills•Developed assertive skills•Taste and capacity to negotiate•Flexibility and attention to detail•Ability to work on multiple priorities and in fast changing environmentPotential development areas of the candidate during the program •Analytical skills•Critical and structural thinking•Excel modelling and presentation structuring•Presenting, communication and negotiation skills•Project management experience•Personal maturity due to involvement into and ownership over real-life business cases
