For our Client, a multinational high-technology company of its sector, we are looking for a:




The position reports to the Plant Manager, and directs teams to drive purchasing, planning, shop floor scheduling, warehouse and shipping, to maintain efficiencies and facilitate on time delivery. 


The new Colleague also has responsibility to maintain optimum inventory levels and achieve 95% or better inventory accuracy, has to be responsible for managing the inventory count programs to achieve 100% on time to schedule. 

The position will be responsible for managing continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities/projects at the department level 




-       Customer order fulfillment

-       Maintain acceptable Inventory Accuracy

-       Maintain optimum inventory level

-       Lead corrective actions team to ensure inventory plan is met

-       Manage plant schedules to achieve capacity, lead-time and yield across all cells.  

-       Provide direction and management of the production schedule and material ordering functions.  

-       Lead and develop team to ensure adequate cross training and standard practices are in place on all processes

-       Develop planning tools to ensure all cells can run 100% of the scheduled time with no controllable material shortages.

-       Manage cycle count process

-       Support establishment of target costs within new projects and ensure that these costs are achieved at start of production

-       Manage NPI sourcing to meet overall new product schedule

-       Ensure the development and execution of long-term strategy deployment, supplier cost modeling, supplier

        opportunity assessments, supplier financial analysis, negotiations, long-term contract establishment,

        continuous supplier performance improvement, and supplier relationship development. 



-       University degree – relevant field

-       Perfect English knowledge

-       User level computer knowledge

-       Relevant experience – preferably as a Supply Chain Leader – mechanical engineering, specific manufacturing
