Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job description:
  • Designing, developing, configuring and operating security systems such as (but not limited to) Authentication, Authorization and Accounting systems, IDM systems, Directory Services systems, workflow management systems and Privilege Access Management systems (PAM), databases, key-value stores, etc.
  • Understanding and enforcing advanced authentication and authorization concepts
  • Understanding access controls models (RBAC, RqBAC, etc.)
  • Understanding automation and orchestration requirements, virtualization technologies, cloud technologies
  • Scripting and programming automated instantiation, configuration and operation by means of REST APIs, and continuous configuration tools e.g. Ansible.
  •  What you will do:Champion security with development teams to make their code more secure, primarily through manual code/architecture review
  • Design, build, and operate innovative tools and security systems to enhance our security (e.g.AAA solutions, IDM solutions, PKI and crypto solutions, Big Data and security monitoring systems)
  • Be the first response and remediation for security-related incidents and participate in on-call rotation
  • Consult, evangelize, and teach theoretical and practical security to groups of varying sizes, disciplines, and experience levels
  • Continually improve your technical and collaboration skills
  • Engage and participate in the security community
  •  Who you are:You have finished technical school and are keen on cyber security

  • You want to reach experience in defending against attacks in several areas of security

  •  Education:University/Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technical related field
  •  Professional knowledge, skills, know-how in the field & experience in the field:At least 3 years of experience in the area of network security, application security, cryptography or other related field
  • Experience and knowledge with analysis of internal and external threats and solving security incidents  
  • Strong understanding of business applications, infrastructure, application and security appliance functionality using strong security practice

Brief description of the company

Deutsche Telekom Pan-Net, s.r.o. - established within Pan IP program is a company which will pilot and manage the whole pan-European Network. From Bratislava, this company will be the first point of contact regarding all overarching matters of the national companies with respect to the pan-European Network.
Being the key entry gate for requirements towards Pan-Net portfolio, we will manage a common service production catalogue, establish new processes and operating models, combining assets and resources to create services for the national companies.
