European Finance Manager
Our client is a global company based in the US. This company is the leading producer of specialty tires and other rubber products for various industries, such as agriculture, power sports, industry and construction.
As the European Finance Manager the position will be responsible for all elements of finance and financial control for both the Hungarian and Dutch Business units. The role will have dual reporting to both the Global Controller based at the company head office in Franklin TN, and the European General Manager. Occasional travel may be required.
-Controlling the General Ledgers for both HU NL companies
-Month-end closure: preparation, Intercompany Balance, Accruals, Revaluation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation and US System data transfer.
-Full management of the audit process
-Manage a team of 2 accounting staff
-Payroll HR Management
-Cash management Collection control, payment approvals.
-Tax return preparation and submission
-Non-Domestic VAT reclaim
-SG&A Expense forecast
-Budget planning, preparation and reporting
-Monthly financial reporting packaging
-Weekly Financial update reports
-Core member of the European leadership team, driving business improvements beyond finance, process implementation.
-Minimum of 3 years experience in a financial control position at a global company
-Chartered Accountant Certification
-Knowledge of US GAAP is desirable
-Excellent written and verbal English skills.
-Knowledge of MS NAV desirable
